Hello, I have a question regarding children and keloids. My son is 15 years old and I have noticed some skin changes – keloids on his back and shoulders. It does not look pretty and I can see that it is a problem for him. Is there anything that can be done for him? I hope he can get rid of those keloids.

I am not sure how often these keloids happen to children but it might happen in puberty, when sometimes (because of the hormones), skin is more greasy and acnes happen more often, In this case, keloids occur spontaneously. Even though the treatment takes time, he will be all right when the therapy is over.
