Hi, guys. I have some ear problems, but I am not sure what it is. My friend tells me that I have chronic swimmer’s ear, but I am no swimmer. How can I have this then? Can someone help me with this? I will appreciate all your replies considering this issue. Thank you!
Hello, there. Swimmer’s ear is an infection of outer ear and ear canal. This is just the term. It doesn’t have to mean that you have to be a swimmer in order to get it. Earwax build up in canal can be one of the reasons. Small ear canals are also an excellent terrain for this. Older people with diabetes also can suffer from swimmer’s ear. It is because their immune system is impaired. I hope everything will be all right. Good luck!
