So a bit of history first.
When I was maybe 13 years old I was in class standing up. I had severe menstrual cramps and suddenly everything went blurry, I passed out cold on the floor.
In 2005. 21 yrs old, I had a pap done and it came back that there was presence of abnormal cervical cells so I had to have a colposcopy, and LEEP procedure done. Everything came back okay after that.
When I was 22 (2006) I found out I was pregnant. At 2 months I found out it was ectopic. The injection they gave me to "clear" it, failed and a week later my fallopian tube ruptured and I almost bled to death at home.. I was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery and had my left tube removed... 1 year later a miscarriage. I gave birth to a baby girl in 2008. a month short of my 25th birthday. She was born with a birth defect to her left hand, only two of her fingers grew, the rest are"nubs" regardless, perfect healthy beautiful girl. She was breech and born by c-section. I stopped breathing during my ectopic surgery and my c section surgery *and was put to sleep for my c section because my body did not freeze, i felt the cut*July 2011 I had another miscarriage.
Now my issue is that I have VERY bad periods. I use the heaviest absorbancy tampon AND I have to wear a pad. I bleed out.. I can't leave my house, I can barely leave the washroom. No exaggerations, for the first maybe 2 days, sometimes more, I change the tampon every 5 minutes.. and huge thick clots come out, it even passes the tampon while it is in me. I get severe cramps, and nausea.
and one other problem: Sometimes my face feels like its on fire, it burns and my cheeks go bright red. I get dizzy and light headed, and real sick to my stomach. Sometimes I feel like I'm starving when this happens, even though I shouldn't be hungry. I feel disillusion/confused when its happening but sometimes if i eat something even a piece of toast when it happens I'll be okay just like that. I have anxiety and panic attacks, I also suffer from the doctors are still trying to diagnose but believe to be cluster headaches, ( i literally live every single day with severe pain in the right side of my face/head) Diabetes is a huge thing in my family on both sides, my father died in May 2011 from COPD and Diabetes and in July my grandmother died from complications with Diabetes..
I really need some input. I feel like Im falling apart and am getting know where with doctors.

Your story, hits close to home. It's somewhat similar to my mother's story but I'm afraid yours seems a bit worse. As a teenager my mother also suffered severe menstrual cramps. On one occasion after being sent home from the hospital and the doctor telling her it was psychosomatic, she too passed out cold and actually hit her head on the way down. Not only did she suffer a concussion, but the doctors found that she was bleeding internally from a ruptured ovary. Her left ovary and Fallopian tube removed.
She successfully gave birth to more children (she has never miscarried) but she did continue to be plagued by heavy painful periods. She was diagnosed with Menorrhagia (means heavy menstrual bleeding with serve loss of blood). It ended up having several problems causing it:
1) hormonal imbalance, which caused the heaving bleeding. Was corrected by taking birth control.
2) anemia which caused the dizziness and light headed feeling. Was corrected by taking a prescription iron supplement.
3) Uterine fibroids, which was suspected to have also caused additional bleeding. Was corrected with surgery and removal.
Things to discuss with your doctor: Menorrhagia, test for possible hormone imbalance, test for anemia, check for fibroids, be tested for diabetes also and ask your doctor if you fit the criteria for PMDD.
Congrats on your baby girl. I wanted you to know I have twin friends who were born with short arms and two fingers on each hand (far worse than your little one) and they lived normal lives and are married now with kids of their own. And their penmanship is impeccable to boot! So don't worry!
The latter half of my mother's life her periods where "normal" (although she's going through menopause now). I hope some of these work for you too. I hope you get to the root of these problems but ultimately your doctors can help.
If you don't mind, I'll keep you in my prayers.
