I have had horrible migraines right before my period and never had them before I got my tubes tied there are other avenues instead of getting them tied/burned etc. I regret the day I had this done!

I had mine done at 25 but me and my husband have 3 children together. i don't regret doing it but i do have the pains right as my period starts like my female organs are about to explode. i also have pains when it is time for me to ovulate, that is when it is hard to be intamate. i also think my hormone levels are off too!!!!! i have hot flashes and i get very bloated. i am glad i am not the only one that feels this way.

I had my surgery 6 years ago , I had not had a period for 2 1/2 mos. I thought it might be a pregnancy but hpt came back neg.I started my period 2 days ago but its very lite and i am in soooooo much pain . I have had abdomal pain on and off for appx 1 year. But this pain is new. When I talk with my doctor She makes me feel like i am not explaining it right or something . Now that things are worst I would like to be able to solve this / ANY IDEAS

I seriously regreted having the surgery done as well. I had nothing but issuse after it was done, anywhere from weight gain to non stop hot flashes. Everytime I talked to a doc about it they would either brush me off or tell me that I was pre medaposal. I was 24 when I had my tubes tied and I was 31 when I had the revesal done, I love it. The weight that was gained is just about gone and NO more hot flashes, no more cramping, no more heavy periods. I just wanted to let everyone know so that maybe you just know you are not alone and the systoms are just not in your head they are real and maybe to save one person having thiers tied and having problems.

im 26 with 4 kids. I had my tubaligation in 06...it was a big mistake...i have really bad cramps,heavy bleeding,headaches and not to mention moodswings...really consider having them tied bc there are so many different types of birth controls out there...i wish i had thought about it and did some reasearch...bc i was never told about he possible side effect. Im going tuesday for a consultation on having a reversal...wish u allthe best of luck!

I had my tubes tied at 38 after giving birth to baby number 4. I was very certain at the time that I was done having children. 4 months later the baby passed away due to SIDS. I am wishing I did not have my tubes tied. If you are in your mid twenties and have any doubts whatsoever, don't have it done.

hello, i just want to say that i do regret getting my tubes clamped! i had it done at age 21 because i had 2 girls and wanted to go back to college but now i regret it so bad! im 25 and the pain and some many other complications i had are many... im in the process of getting a reversal but i wish i was told about the side effects... the reversal is so expensive but im trying to see what works best..

Before i had it done, i am really decided as i already have 3 kids.. and one big factor is financial.. only that Im curious is after a year of i felt high urge of sex.. it runs all over my body like wanting it each day.. im enjoying it.. after reading this article it comes to my conclusion that, what im feeling is just normal.. i was 32 when i had it done.. we never use any contraceptive ever since.. my OB says i could get 5 cs operation.. but all my 3 kids are cs so i decided to stop to 3.

I had my tubes cauterized a few days ago. My husband and I decided it was right for us because we have 1 girl and 1 boy. The past few days have been emotional for me. Every time I see a show or movie with babies in it I feel like crying. I am 27 years old now, and my youngest is 18 months old. I am sad that I will never get to experience having another child. I thought I was ready, but maybe I wasnt.

I had my tubes cauterized 5 yrs ago and I have never felt such regret.. I long for a baby, I am always crying, I feel pain during intercourse, I have gained weight. It was the worst decision I ever made and I dont recommend it to anyone.

i have been going thru lots of health issues since i got my TL, doctors dont know why i'm having these problems and so they are sayig i have fibromialgia and so they put me on depression meds and nothing has helped. after doing all my research it all comes down to my tubal surgery even thow my doctor said its not the cause but i do believe that exactly why i got so sick

i had the surgery done in 2005 after my 2nd child. my 1st child was with a past relationship. my husband and i talked about it. i said that i had the amount of children i wanted. and he agreed that 2 was enough. but i figured if it didnt work between us and he wanted more kids he could have them. but im more then happy with my 2. i dont have as much as a sex drive as i used to and im more moody with my periods.But i just took it as im a busy working mother. but maybe i need to check into this more because im only 31.
