He suffers with pain in his stomach at times, issues with going to the bathroom when it requires going number 2 (sorry thats not the best way to put it). Certian foods trigger pains. It took the doctors a few months to figure out what was wrong with him because they didn't suspect a blood clot. I can't think of what else he said he suffered but I know he was in a lot of pain (though his tolerance level is lower than mine so I cant say how bad that is for him). I will find out from him and let you anyone know what else he went though.
Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. Can you tell me what sort of foods actually trigger it? What sort of condition does he have? Did they say what it is?
Really for him any foods can trigger it. It just depends on how his body feels like being. I think I said it once before but his condition is called misintric (sorry about the spelling I know its got to be wrong) Thrombosis. Basically a blood clot in his liver, that stems out and extends into four other arteries for four other organs. Doc's already said they dont know how he is alive, but Im glad he his.

I have had random nausea since June and had an endoscopy today (luckily they went downwards through my mouth (gastroscopy), not upwards (colonoscopy) lol). Anyhow, they gave me omeprazole 20mg and domperidone anti sickness tablets.... the domperidone had a side-effect no other than... nausea.. (can u believe it? an anti sickness tablet with nausea as a side-effect lmao) anyway I've been on lanzoprazole 20mg and metoclopramide anti-sickness tabs for about 2 months now and sometimes I don't bother taking the anti-sickness tablet because i feel well.
I did however feel nauseous yesterday and retched for the first time in about 2 weeks out on the street. I was diagnosed with bipolar effective disorder in october 2008 and came off the 2mg of rispiradone (slowly over 3 months - 1.5mg.. then 0.5mg.. then 0mg :-) I was given a clean bill of health by my psychiatrist in june 2009 but since then I have been suffering with random nausea.
The doctor said I could have h.pylori which is a bacterial infection in the stomachs lining (which has now been eliminated from the list of possibilities after the gastroscopy). The other possibility is that it could be withdrawal symptoms from leaving rispiradone... it takes 6 months for rispiradone to completely leave your system after you stop taking it.
On looking around on the internet I found that I could have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) or that my nausea is simply anxiety related.
Has anyone else had any experience with leaving rispiradone or have any information that could shed some light on this situation?
