crampimg with thick white mucus discharge

Hi I am 23 and for the past 2 weeks I have been having really bad cramps with a lot of thick white mucus discharge. I am about 10 days late for my period and i just stop taking depo shot about 3 months ago. My periods have been regular for the past 6 months could this be a sign of pregnacy or just the depo shot leaving my body. I had sex a week before my period was to start so I'm a little scared could someone help.
