I have had the runs for weeks on end now, and I am really starting to get worried about this. Is there a possibility that I suffer from crohn’s disease? I have been googling diarrhea and that is what it came up with. Cancer was something else they mentioned, but I have been feeling sick as well, and that is one of the symptoms too. What should I do now?

I just came across this after I searched this site for diarrhoea! My elderly mother has been suffering from loose stools for many months now, and accidents happen all the time. She often soils herself and then can't clean it up - these incidents have been happening almost every other day. My sister also mentioned colon cancer or irritable bowel syndrome as a possibility, but I think we can look at crohn's disease as well now. Thank you for giving me the idea. I am so sorry that I have no advice to offer for you though.
