Since I first started getting my period regularly after hitting puberty at 17 (I am now 23) I've always had a very heavy flow (changing super tampons every hour on the first day, and every couple hours on the second) that only lasted at the very most 3 days. I've never taken birth control, and they've always been about every 28 days and regular like clock work. As I'm getting older my husband and I are graduating college and wanting to start a life with a family, I'm worried this odd menstrual cycle might impare that.
you shouldnt have anything to fear, wethether your cycles are like clockwork or not there are any amount of different reasons as to why you period is behind, fast, eavy or light. one main reason is usually stress, it can do many things to the body including what ive listed above, though if some time has passed and you are still concerned go to your doctors and or a hospital, a few opinions is never a bad thing, especially if it eases your mind. good luck i hope this helped
I usually have a period of 3-4 days. I'm now on day 5 and it's my second day of heavy flow. I'm changing tampons almost every 1 to 2 hours and I feel a little weak and lightheaded. Should I be concerned?
