Long story short I live with chronic and acute shoulder pain and deep sighs with short vocals, Like"oh, oh."Specialist after specialist, no answers, PT, Tens machine, routine patches and stong pain meds, I haven't beet abler to lie on either side, have moving chest back and shoulder pain and irregular deep sigh red several times within 5-10 times. Sill no answers, no satisfaction, I have to sleep on a special mattress, lie face up, like I am a corpse. Noone will convince me this wasn't a surgical error of some kind, Im only 52.pT he resulting problems are not only inconvient, but embarrassing and painful on in typical day, or night.

Any one have any of this, so long term?

<3Today is 8/23 and I had my gallbladder removed laproscopicaly on Monday the 19th. (4 days ago). The first nite was the worst. I could not lay in my bed because of the sharp pains going down my right side, rib cage and my right shoulder. I ended up taking a Tylenol 3 w/Codeine to have me get some kind of rest. It was around 3am Tuesday morning when that happened. I still have the pains in my right abdomen area, feel like I have bruised ribs and the shoulder pains are not so bad. The thing that is worrying me, I cannot breath deeply as I should, or stand up straight fully. I was planning on going back to work yesterday, but my body says "No way". I do not know how long this is supposed to last, but depends on the person also. I have 5 cuts instead of 3 as planned and a BIG bruise on my right abdomen. I will have a follow up on Tuesday to see how my progress is. I do know, I am hurting with the rest of you. This is not fun and I often think that I should of not had it done. But it got to the point that anything I ate was making me sick, even just the smell of food. One good thing I have found, I have lost 10 lbs but did not want to lose it this way. I am on a soft diet till my follow up and eating bigger portions SLOWLY. Good luck to all of you.

I had my gallbladder removed today is the eleventh day and I too had that real sharp pain on my right side, I couldn't even turn over in bed, and sit up for long periods of time without it feeling like someone is sticking a knife in my side, but the pain has become less for the last two days. Still having a lot of gas when eating certain foods and it seems that maybe the gas is causing me to be short of breathe.

I have the same problem one week after gallbladder removal. I feel like am healing properly and according to schedule. I see the doctor on Tuesday for post op visit and thought I would look to see if anyone else has similar. Changing clothes gets me out of breath. I see that many other people are going through the same problem with the same procedure.

I had my gallbladder removed like 10+ years ago, & had trouble ever since then with pain in my abdomen; my abdomen continues to have presssure pain that gets worse the longer I sit upright, I have excessive heat production in my abdomen that makes me feel like I'm standing to close to a roaring bonfire that I just can't walk away from, the longer I stay sitting upright the worse the pain pressure & hardness of my abdomen gets. I have found only one thing that totally will remove the pain for 4 hours or so at a time, & only the small size of them works. At first when I'd put them on, I'd thought I was having an allergic reaction because your skin gets really warm where you place these patches at but I'd left it there and after so many minutes that feeling went away & I have total pain & the heat is greatly relieved too. Try them, remember only this size works even though the next size ups says it has the same ingredients it doesn't work at all for me. Here is what works for me, I found out that it works by increasing the blood's circulation to those areas thus also increases your oxygen levels too.

I also want people to know that I'd been alternating tyl #3 with Ibuprofen before this and it had not even got rid of half of the pain. It wasn't until it got so bad that it made me always feel like taking a scalpel & cutting open my abdomen to release the pressure that I'd finally cried out praying to God asking Him to tell me if He knew of anything that I could take to relieve this pain before I'd do something stupid like cutting my stomach open, & the Lord had a little old woman I believe to have been an angel appear sitting before the pharmacy counter where I was looking at Walmart through the isles, who'd appeared before me & had said to me- My husband swears by the SMALL Salonpas Pain-Relieving Patches, you should really try them out., I did & they really work. For more pain everywhere, too that is due to low circulation or to low oxygen to the area.

I had my gallbladder removed 5 days ago and have felt so good ever since. All of the problems that you guys are having are all of the things I had happen to me before I had gallbladder removed. Everyone, I am a 54 year old male that has been pretty healthy most of my life. I've always tried to exercise, eat right and take good care of myself. But everything I ate eventually made me so sick, with some days being for maybe 2 hours.& other days would stay sick all day and all night. I also had problems every few days with feeling like I couldn't get my breath. It made me think I was having a stroke or heart attack because I would have to sit straight up before I was able to breath again. Really scared me But be careful when u go to the doctor. WHY? Because they will try and say you have heart problems as well and try charging you thousands of dollars for services they give you and you really don't need. I feel so much better now that gallbladder is out I was so deathly sick. They also did a heart catheter thru my arm and I needed no stints. Yes, I was having some breathing problems but I believe they were all due to the sick gallbladder that I had in my body. Just watch those doctors because my bill was $100,000 for a lot of unnecessary treatments I believe that I really didn't need. So please ask many many many questions before letting them do anything. And just because they come in your room and say that you might have this and that don't always fall for it and keep questioning. People are so willing to take anything that a doctor or nurse gives or tells them. Please be cautious! I'm very glad that mine is out. He done a wonderful job and I healed fast. Was back to work in 3 or 4 days. .
