I am so glad I was able to read the experiences of those with this surgery. I am a week post surgery of three parathyroid removal. I do not have the high calcium levels or fogginess in the head, but have been dizzy. I went for blood work to see what is going on. I did experience some tingling in my hands and the directions from he Doctor on taking two TUMS worked and actually helped my dizziness. Thinking my calcium may be low. The blogs again help to know how people feel and to help me feel like I was not going crazy. Hoping for feeling better as the recovery period continues and understanding it takes time.

I wouldn’t worry about asking questions. Your Dad is clearly not well. The doctor should be telling you about what his needs are, not the other way around. I say you need to get answers. Don’t give up! You are doing a great job. I am three weeks into 3 being removed. You are doing a great job.
