While the apples are a great idea hon, applesauce is high in sugar and other preservatives. May I suggest smoothies instead? With coconut water. Apple and coconut go great together and it'll be far less sugary that applesauce. Also, be very careful with laxatives. If taken for too long you body will not being able to manually... go. If you catch my drift.

Hi, hon. Duromine is a great and effective way to lose weight, however, it's not a miracle pill. It does require diet changing and exercise. As someone that was on a high dose for close to two weeks, I can attest that it works fantastically. However, you need a Gp prescription for them and I can not stress this enough, THEY ARE EXPENSIVE. 30 caps will cost you 140$ Aus (Cause I am Australian.) As for where you get them, they are bought from any chemist but you need a prescription.
For my own weight-loss, I went from 90kgs down to 75kgs in just two weeks. I am only 5' foot so I was very over weight. And a lot of that was baby-weight I'd been struggling to lose for years.

I am 35, 1.75m tall and had a starting weight of 111kgs. I went to my GP to get advice on weight loss and she prescribed duromine to me. I have been using Duromine 15mg and 30mg on and off for 2 years now, under the watchful eye of my GP. She monitors it intently. She started me on Duromine 15mg for 3 months, then took me off for 2 months. While on the 15 mg dose, I lost quite a lot of weight, about 9 kgs in 3 months. My weight was down to 102Kgs. I did moderate gym (both aerobic and light weights 3 times a week). I also ate a low carb diet. And I say "diet" cautiously, because all I did was cut out the junk food containing simple carbs and sugar. I did not by any means calorie count or severely restrict my portions. Taking the 15mg did blunt the cravings. In the two months that I was off duromine, I picked up 2 kgs taking my weight up to 104kgs. My GP then put me on a higher dose of 30mg. I did notice some mild side effects at first, like loads of energy, and mild insomnia, but after about 2 weeks my sleeping patterns normalized. For the entire time I took Duromine 30mg, I had loads of energy, and it did not affect my moods, I got no headaches, but I did have dry mouth, so drank a lot of water. I stuck to my diet and exercise regime for the next 3 months while on Duromine 30mg and I lost a further 10kgs taking my weight down to 94kgs. For the next 3 months I was Duromine free, but found the cravings and hunger pangs were terrible and I was struggling to say no to junk food and snacks. After the 3 months Duroine sabbatical. I went back to my GP and found that I had picked up 3 kgs taking my weight back up to 97kgs. I was getting really frustrated, so she put me back on to Duromine 30mg for 6 months, but where I took the capsule every second day. This worked perfectly. By the second day I could feel mild cravings, but I could easily overcome them by just drinking a cup of caffeine free coffee. at the end of the 6 months, I went back to my GP, and I lost a further 15kgs bringing my weight down to 82kgs. She prescribed me one more month of Duromine 30mg, but that one month supply had to last 2 months, as I gradually reduced the dose until the course was finished. This allowed my body time to adjust, and I found that by doing it this way, I wasn't craving junk food like before. After another 3 months I went back to my GP, and I had lost 2 kgs on my own taking me down to 80kgs which was my goal weight. It has been a further 3 months since that last visit to my GP, and I have maintained my weight at arounf 80kgs. My weight does increase by 3kgs when I am menstruating, and will go right down to about 78.5kgs the week after, but then will normalize to 80kgs. So in all my experience with Duromine has been good with very mild side effects. But what everyone needs to realize, it is not a quick fix. It has taken me 2 years to lose and keep off 31kgs, under the close monitoring of my Doctor.

Duromine works very very well. I have been using it for 4 months now and lost 18kg. Past month I only lost 3 kg but they say the first 3 months is the best.
In the beginning side effects were a bit bad. Had insomnia but took pill at 5am and later it got much better. After 2 weeks everything was back to normal I just had a lot more energy and the constant dry mouth but it makes me drink litres of water so I guess it is good.
I could not get it on prescription although my BMI was over 30. ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** private e-mails not allowed*** Please read our Terms of Use
I hope I can help someone with this information. It is the first time in my life that I have self confidence and actually feel good.

Hiya Chris!.. That is awesome to hear as Ive just started on Duromine...I eat REALLY healthy during the week and 2x cycle classes a week, 1x bootcamp a week and everyday I do at least 10kms on the X trainer at level 20 random hills and weights!..I STILL have trouble with weight issues!...So..thinking it's the "amount" I pile on my plate even though its quite healthy!..Wine/nibblies are my downfall come the weekend..Weekends kill me!.. Haven't started the duromine yet but are starting on 15mg....I hope it is a kick start!!..
