I am a 29 yr old who has not been sexually active for just over 2 yrs now (since me and my now ex-husband split). Two weeks ago I started getting really bad pains in my lower abdomonal area both right and left. I made a doctors appointment and by the time I saw the doctor the pain was able to be felt in my lower back. My doctor ordered a blood test to check for kidney functions, which came back normal. A couple of days later the pain was getting even worse and I started getting a discharge (dried blood and chunky). I went back the doctor and he did a pap and he said I had a bacteria infection and put me on strong meds both oral and vaginal, and we made an appointment the an OBGYN but it was going to be just over a week til I could get in. Three days later the pain has gotten to a point that is now bringing tears to my eyes and causing me to get physically sick when I got the sharp pains. I was told to go straight to the ER so I did so and the doctor there did a dry CT Scan and said that my kidney's were fine and that there was no tumors growning in my abdomonal section. I am two days from going to the OBGYN and the dried blood chunky discharge now has streaks of bright red blood, and the pain is still bad and gets worse the more that I move around.

Can anyone please advise as to what they think this might be or is anyone else has been thru the same thing please let me know what the possible causes could be.
first of all, i'm sorry to hear of your split, i hope you're ok.

secondly....i have not experienced this....but very interesting to read about and i will be well aware of it should it ever happen to me.

If it is infact a bacterial infection...it sounds like its doing quite a number on your body. I've heard of pains such as these in miscarriges...but having abstained....it's can't quite be the same reasons.

I'm sorry I couldn't be much help. i'd like to know how the appt went though...hope everythigns alright!!!!

Well I went to see the OBGYN today and she did her thing and according to her all the signs point to Ovarian Cysts. I have been scheduled for a Pelvis and TUVS Ultrasound to get a positive confirmation. I hope this has helped others and will continue to help others. I will write back when I get the results in about 7 days after my test.
