Hi There, even I have informed the same to my doctor that duphaston is supposed to be a very risky medicine in pregnancy. As I have read many cases from around the world. She said don't worry (Dr. Urmila Tiwari, Indore) its the safest medicine in the world. Worst of all she initially gave it for 15 days.. Then for a month and then prescribed it to me for the entire pregnancy even when everything was OK and I have also read, the medicine shouldn't be given after the first trimester. The duphaston by abott pharma is banned in entire Europe/ America. I lost my baby in January'17 after 8 months of pregnancy simply because of the ignorant Dr and these medicines. Please don't take the medicine at all. Better opt for abortion right away if in first month of pregnancy and plan for the baby next year. Never trust Indian doctors.. They are hopeless.. I have even worked with few. Better abort safetly then regret later. Indian drs are under strict control of pharma.. And these companies gift them several foreign trips and heavy commission.

Suggest you not to go with what doctors have to say.. No HRT TREATMENT PLEASE ITS HIGHLY RISKY for the feotus as well as for you. Better medically abort now and retry after 6 months
Hi there. I am also taking tablet duphaston 10mg twice daily . My doctor prescribed this because i have faced sudden bleeding in my 2nd month of pregnancy . At first, i was prescribed three times daily untill 3 months ends. I will have to continue this further. I think, you should trust your doctor. Best wishes.

Hi,i had taken this duphastan 10mg twise a day,after that brown spotting ,after that i get miscarriage,Many side effects are there by using this tablet.so better you have to check up with good experienced doctor

I am also 6 weeks pregnant, I tested my progesterone hormone level yesterday, and it was 24.2 which I guess is normal during the first trimester, during the first trimester normal range is 7.25 - - 44.0. That means that I am not lacking it but since, I also noticed brown spotting two times, I started to take duphustan 10 mg two times in a day.
Dear, you don't worry, whatever happens will happen, leave things to God, I am pregnant after 11 yrs, I once connived on September 2016 and again now pregnant, but, having brown color spotting this time too, I was scared, I met a doctor and she gave me aspirin 76 mg,duphustan 10 mg per day and folic acid. same like you I also googled, but googling made me more confused, so now I have stopped to google and concentrate on what my doctor says. Pleas don't stress yourself, take your medicines on time, and think positive.
Hi,i know what feeling to be ,my suitation also same ,I married 2 years ago we are trying to conceive for 2 years but no ,I consult a doctor and she says that after period day 20 to start dulphoton twice a day,for 10 days and I mistakenly before and afters taking 2 tablets next I got period and I got period month twice now and after day 20 iam using now I don't know why she give me the tablet I am trying to conceive but no possible is it safe or not I don't know when ever I go to hospital she give me this duphaston..I literally no confident to conceive because of tablet or something,doctor health check up and said it's all normal I don't why I didn't get pregnant then we trying hard please can you tell me it's safe to use dulphoton tablet or not
