3 years ago I had a tube in my left ear due to a severe ear infection. I could not hear anything and I was scared. I tried sudafed to help dry up my ear and sinuses. Nothing worked so my Doctor inserted the tube. Worse earaches than before and I wish I never had the tube put in! When they removed the tube after a year, I lost my sense of smell and things don't taste the same. I eventually got used to that. Every year this same ear gives me trouble with aching, sore throat on that side all the way down my neck, and congestion of the ear and sinuses. It's really bad at night. Feels like I'm gonna have this all my life unless there is something that can be done to stop the recurring trouble every year. Any suggestions? Thanks :-(
