What can you tell me about the effect of the UV rays on the skin? I have heard a lot of bad stories about the sunbathing but I never quite understood why it might be so dangerous. And also, all of my friends enjoy in sunbathing without much thinking about the UV or any other rays. How should I act?
Well, it seems like you are a bit different than your friends since you are interested in the possible danger the sun might bring us. The biggest threat considering UV rays is that their effect is cumulative. This means that if you have sunbathed ten years ago and then this year again, the effect would be added to each other. And that effect might induce change in the skin tissue which leads to tumor.
