Nearly a year ago I went to ER suffering from severe pain, in lower abdomen, and constant, un bearable pressure..that lead me to believe I had to pee all the time, but never got any relief. They treated me for UTI, and sent me on my way, four days later, when the pain was unbearable, I went back to my doc, he examed me, told me that was hurting was my uterus, told me take ibuprofen, and rushed me out the door. He muttered something about due to my period coming it must have something to do with that. That night as I tried to hurry up my stairs to go to the washroom, I lost all control of my bladder and urinated. I went back to the doctor and asked for a referal, which he was not happy about and wanted me to apply this progestrone miracle cream he has precribed to nearly half the town. I of course researched this cream and asked him how he knew my levels were low, and he again dodged the question and made me feel like an id**t for quesitoning him. My appt with a gyno, months later, where she never examed me, simply gave me a prescription for birth control, and mentioned endometriosis. I left there feeling more confused. When I was younger I took birth control for years, and suffered panic attacks. A doctor determined the progestrone was causing me panic attacks. Ever since I have been off, I still deal with panic attacks, and anxiety, but it no longer was a daily occurance. So after all this, I finally get an internal ultrasound, which showed nothing. So now I sit her with my prescription, and wonder do I try it..because I know what may or may not happen.
It sounds to me like you have had a series of incompetent or uncaring physicians. You don't really say if you are still experiencing the pain and pressure in your lower abdomen. My wife had Endometriosis, but a thorough and understanding gyno. Maybe you should go to a major medical center in a larger city, or an association of gyno specialists tht have the resources to diagnose your troubles.
