I had my esophgus removed 14 inchs 5 years for esophageal cancer. I had to go for an endoscopy the other day. So no eating the day before when the doctor went in with the scope my stomach was full of food. I had not eatten for 12 hours why was my stomach full of food? I have been complaining of my stomach hurting and full feeling. Also having a hard time swolling the doctor was going to try and stretch my throat open where my stomach was reattached to my throat after my surgery 5 years ago. Why was my stomach full of food 12 hours after I are? Also I didn't eat a lot at that time fyi ?
