I am 19 years old and also suffer from enlarged labia. I have always thought that i wasnt normal and this has caused servre problems in my life. i have very low confidence in myself and having sexual intercourse with my long time boyfriend is still and uncomfortable experience for me. he saids that it does not bother him but is a major issue for me. I believe that my enlarged labia is the reason why i am unable to have an orgasim. I have to be very careful with the type of underwear i have as it can be incrediby uncomfortable or i come out of my underwear. When i get hot they can become very sore and red. I cry myself to sleep alot over this and really want the surgery. fHaving enlarged labia causes me so many problems the biggest one being my selfconfidence.

Why do you think your labia are enlarged? There isn’t a woman in the world whose labia don’t get red and enlarged when she is sexually excited. The reason you can’t fully enjoy in sex has little to do with shape of your labia, and more with all this self confidence and body image issues. Sex is unpleasant because you can’t relax and stop thinking about these things that make you anxious. What I’m trying to say is that you can have the surgery if you are able to pay for it but there is no guarantee that you will get the results you want and surgeon will probably tell you that himself. Not to mention the risks that could be serious if you want to have a child.
