This is souly about self-control, self-control starts and ends with the mind.
You have to want this soooo much that your mind starts to change and end up giving you what you desire. If you know for sure that you trust your girlfriend...then this can go by pretty swiftly.
Now the problem with this is most guys would say: "Yes, of course i trust my girlfriend" but their minds are really screaming out "I don't know if i trust her or not...i mean she did this and that in the past and I don't want any of that to happen to me"
So you first have to ask yourself..."Do i really trust my girlfriend?" and if your real answer is "No, i do not trust my girlfriend", then you first need to work something out with your girlfriend and talk to her more and what not. If your answer is "Yes, I do trust my girlfriend, no doubt" then the rest is about you.
You have to train your mind to know that not investigating and knowing everything your girlfriend does, does not mean that you do not care about her, it's just giving her some space.
I remember when i had an overprotective boyfriend myself, it was terrible, he wanted to know everything I was doing and everyone i was doing it with, he was the most jealous person I know til this day and our relationship, eventually, ended. If you know that that's exactly how you are...then you seriously need to change because I am positive that your girlfriend is tired of it.
So start slow....stop yourself from asking questions that you normally ask her daily that seem to overprotective. Like i said...this is all about self-control.
I really don't want you and your girlfriend to break-up, because of the cause of you being too over-protective...so if you really love her then do this for her, okay?
