currently diagnosed with SLA and RA. constantly dealing with random swelling that's painfull and debilitating. Dr. can't explain why. Am on methotrexate, imuran, methylpred., trilisate for pain, synthroid, benecar hct, and a bunch of vitamins. The blood work and symptoms combined say SLA and RA. Can it possibly be any other rare disease that follows similar path. Dr, was hoping for a better prognosis by now, but the meds. and my progress say different. I don't want to be taking these poisons if they're not helping me. They have to a degree, however something keeps telling me it's someting else or on top of what I already have. Any suggestions as to what direction to go to next? Thanks,
