Ok this is my story, my last menses was Feb 5 I got pregnant February 16, I had a surgical abortion March 28. I was 5 weeks 3 days. My embryo the size of a sesame seed I'm assuming. The ultrasound girl had trouble finding it but apparently did. I went off to do my procedure. When I thought I was done, I was taken back in again to do a second surgical abortion. The doctor adviced me to get an HCG done to see if my levels were dropping, I will be doing this on Monday. I'm very fustrated that I may have to do this again. I was definitely too early. The strange thing is that I'm not feeling nauseated but still feel cramps not bloated and my Breast aren't hurting too much. I can't wait for my HCG test. I am still peeing a lot thou but has decreased a little bit. Any advice would help, I'm very depressed and frustrated

Honestly, if you are still pregnant, don't abort again. Sometimes, after a procedure, a woman will come to regret it and it can lead to problems in her life. Instead, go see a pregnancy help medical center. You can get an ultrasound and other prenatal services and you can get counseling on what to do with the child. Also, if you call option line, they can give you advice on what to do with the child.

You should probably see a doctor. Whatever happens, don't abort again. Women do tend to regret abortions after the procedure has been done sometimes

I was 4 weeks when I went to have my surgical abortion, (at planned parenthood) I chose to be put to sleep and now I am a little regretful because I wish I was awake to see what they actually did to me. its been two weeks since the procedure and last night my body was literally breaking down on me so I decided I needed to go to the ER (BLEEDING HEAVY BLACK BOOD AND VOMITING AND FEELING FAINT) I told them what happened and why I was here. So they assumed I would probably need a D&C and set me up with a blood bank wristband, I was scared because I already knew and felt that something was wrong. They did the ultra sound vaginally and my stomach and I could just tell by the faces he was making that something was really wrong. they took me back to my room and the dr had came in asking me a bunch of questions, but first he had asked me if I was sure I had a surgical abortion and I said yes! and that's when he told me that the baby was still alive and well with a regular heart beat, and after that I couldn't even talk. Youre not alone and this is very rough to have to go threw 2 procedures back to back. I'm very upset and my mother has looked into a lawyer as well, I cant understand how you could just miss it, but clearly we fall into that 1%.

You really have no idea what women go through. I used to be just like you, judging not knowing what a person is going through until I found myself in d situation dt I had to get an abortion. And yes I care for that baby and I believe this ladies really care as well. Empathy to all of you ladies finding yourselves in those difficult situations...

I'm going on Wednesday to see if my termnaition is incomplete. I'm so scared. Was such a hard decision to make and I had to have the procedure with no anaesthetic due to allergies. I don't think I'm strong enough to do that again?!

Honestly, if your procedure is incomplete, you don't have to go through it again. Instead, go see your local crisis pregnancy center for advice on what to do. They have counsellors there you can talk to about your options and they can help you to find one that works for you.

I am also in the same boat the 1% it didn't work and went back for check up last week. I've since had an internal ultrasound and seen my OB and now 8.5 weeks. I also agree they should advise to wait until 7 weeks I would've been just over 5 weeks. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do as due to personal circumstances I felt it was the right thing to do by my family and me. Now I feel like I have to face the same awful decision again but feel torn as I know how I felt afterwards and not sure if I'll cope either way I'm scared and confused

My mom did the medical abortion at about 4 weeks into her pregnancy, she saw it with her eyes and a few days later she came back to check up for her post-abortion and it turned out she was still pregnant, she decided to keep the baby(which is me) , 19 years later i tried to google one night on how it could possibly happen and reading all of these comments explain everything i've ever questioned my whole life!:)
