Failed Surgical Abortion

Was there any risk in keeping it even after you had a surgical abortion? I just got a surgical abortion and if there's a slight possibility that it failed I'm nervous that I won't be able to do it twice and will just want to keep it. Although I'm afraid that because I already went through one procedure it would be a risk to keep it because something from my uterus was extracted....Am I making sense? did you have a healthy pregnancy? Baby? After the fact

I had a local anesthetic surgical at what I should have been 7 n half weeks but baby was barely 6 n it all went well... failed surgical ones are very rare but I'm learning that they do happen more than let on.

Did you have a period? I had a abortion 7 weeks ago but feel baby movement I would be 14 weeks if I was still pregnant.

I have a similar situation. I had a surgical abortion at 9 weeks and only spotted a couple days after. I continued to vomit everyday and my stomach kept growing. I went back months later and they said I was 16 weeks pregnant. The baby is perfectly healthy and growing fine. I am now 21 weeks pregnant with a little girl. I would really like answers, it was definitely not twins. The only answer I have is it was a miracle. It all worked out though I thank god everyday.

I had an abortion last Tuesday at 11 weeks I was in so much pain after the first procedure that they pulled me back in and I had a second procedure I felt like I was going too die I had no pain meds either time I didn't bleed very much and I haven't at all either my boobs are ten times more tender and sore than ever I still have headaches I still feel tired and my cravings are still the I even throw up after ii brush my teeth just like when I was pregnant .. I'm still kinda worried I might still be pregnant?! Is that possible? If so I'm keeping the baby even tho I made a better choice for me and my husband by having the abortion I will never ever have another abortion again .. Please any advise would help

Sure the baby came out without limbs or has derects, n prolly won't make it, only by God's grace

Maybe you've carried out 2 or more successful session n this one turned out to a tubal(ectopic pregnancy). I think u need to open up to ur physician or u need a laparoscopic visualization test to see if ur uterus is perforated too or ohk!

pls I had a surgical abortion on 3/11 and after the procedure I bleed normally for some days but now my stomach is getting big and sometimes feels movement in it and my heart beats...now my question is can I still be pregnant?? pls I need an advice + support because am getting uncomfortable only I and my bf knows about this nobody to talk to that's why I came online..thanks

Hi a few weeks ago I missed a month period then started spotting early the other month after sexual intercourse with my partner so I took a home preg test the next mrng and got a positive I was so shocked and went to the hospital and was ordered an ultrasound I found out I was pregnant 5weeks 5 days and they said there was one live fetus so after a week my partner started acting up long story .... I decided on an abortion I was so scared I was 7.5 weeks when I book the oppointment and when I went in I was 8.3 in the middle of the abortion the doctor said there are twins I was wide awake during it hurted badly n I saw the two babies I wasn't emotional at all until I went home I regret doing it ! It has been a week now no cramps only spottings and am feeling fine ! But I really want to get pregnant ASAP I can't deal with this mentally it's killing me I avnt slept all I do is worry if I will be able to get pregnant soon

Did you have a vaccume aspiration done? I did at 4 weeks, that was 3 weeks ago and my pregancy symptoms are stronger and I got a strong positive on a home test. Waiting on my ultrasound results.

So I had my surgical abortion back in August 5th and the beginning point of 9 weeks. They used the vaginal ultrasound to see it in the beginning and then after the procedure they quickly went over my stomach with the belly one instead and took me to the recovery room. After light bleeding I suddenly got sharp pains for a couple of days and some more bleeding. A month after the procedure I got intense heavy bleeding and passing big clots that I ended up going to the emergency room. The ultrasound tech wasn't there and they preformed a blood test on me and couldn't figure out what was wrong and that I was making enough blood that I didn't need a blood transfusion. I ended up seeing my Gyno about a week or so after and she just check to see that I was Healing properly and said my hormones were going down. The bleeding had slowed way down and finally stopped after 2 months had passed after the procedure so I didn't think I needed to do an ultrasound later. I've been on birth control since then and I've been getting my periods normally and light. In December out of no where my stomach has been spazzing out and twitching uncontrollably randomly a couple of days apart. It's been freaking me out and I did the math and I would of been around 26 weeks pregnant when the twitching started. And around the twitching I noticed was getting nauseous a lot and suffering from heartburn. I get really out of breath from cleaning my apartment and suffered from a couple of random headaches. My friend even noticed that I had kind of a bump going on my stomach but it's not hard or super big. So idk if it's just gas, phantom pregnancy, or if I could possibly still be pregnant. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative in December. My belly is 36inchs and I've gained 5 pounds. Idk if I should go in for an ultrasound or not. I'm 50/50 because I don't want to waste the money and get upset when I find out there's nothing there. This whole thing has been so stressful for me from the guy who got me pregnant leaving me and needed money to pay all these bills and such hence why I felt like I had to get the abortion but now I regret it =\

Have you had you baby ?

You may be having a hysterical pregnancy. My good friend had symptoms up to 7 months. When it comes to hysterical pregnancies, you can have very acute pregnancy symptoms for a while, while not actually being pregnant. Either way,i would suggest getting a check up
