Bedebedebede thats all folks! Ranger Mighty Mouse....my favorite cartoon from those days, just ahead of Heckle and Jeckle, those rascally magpies. Saturdays were for cartoons? You bet! And that also included the Little Rascals, the Stooges, and let's toss in Laurel and Hardy for good measure. And if anyone cares, the good Ranger's remembrance of these shows puts him into, if not surpassing, my age group. He's no whippersnapper! Why, I'd wager a dozen bottles of brew that he's seen the b&w version of the Mickey Mouse Club. What say?

the Three Stooges rocked!
Absitively! There's a local station here that has two hours prime-time of the Stooges on Saturday nights, and is probably the highest-rated show in that period. The Stooges made eye-poking and hair-pulling popular. And Curly (not Curly Joe) was a comic genius. Oh for you MM Club watchers - was Friday Talent Round-Up Day?

1955 was a great year, we all tried to be back in the store off the road from our TV service calls to watch Annette fill out her sweater. Seemed like they grew a noticeable bit every week. Doreen wasn't far behind her either and she went on to Playboy later but Annette couldn't be enticed. I guess she was having too much fun on the beach with Frankie Avalon.
