A few days ago a sickamore seed flew down my throat and choked me {unlucky i know} I was suffering alot of discomfort and kept gagging so a few hours later i decided to go to A&E to get checked out. The doctor did a test {cant remember what its called} where they insert a camera up your nose and down throat and didnt find any foreign body and thought i seed must have passed straight into my stomach and that sometimes the brain tricksyou into thinking its still there. I insisted i could still feel something sharp stuck in the front of my throat. He said there was a tiny chance it was in my windpipe but highly unlikely as i would be coughing and wheezing alot which im not, apart from the odd coughing fit. Its now been over 2 days and im feeling more discomfort , i feel sure it s still there but uncertain about any further treatment i could possibly receive by returning to hospital. Should i just sit tight and hope this eventually goes or insist on further investigation? Any advice pleeease...
