About a month ago (I think), my boyfriend and I had sex (a few times), and one of the times, he came inside of me. (I was off of birth control since 4 days prior to this incident). About four or five days after that incident, I bled. I thought it was my period but it lasted 3 days and was quite light. I took a pregnancy test about a week ago, and it was negative, but I think that was too early to tell. I "feel" pregnant", but I wonder if that is just me being overly paranoid. I've gained a pound or two, but it's probably too early to even do that due to pregnancy. I have nausea, heartburn, and headache everyday, but they say that starts at 6 weeks, and, if I am correct in calculating, I believe I am only at 4 or 5. My friend, who has a child, said that it's probably due to stress, which I have an abundance of. But I've been incredibly stressed so many times before, and have never thrown up every day because of it? I hope I am pregnant, because if I'm not, there's got to be something wrong with me. I don't keep track of my periods or of my ovulation, and now I am kicking myself for it. Someone help... am I pregnant?
Hi Breezy22,
It sounds to me like you might be pregnant. Every woman is different, and some women begin feeling nauseated VERY early. My last pregnancy, my nausea started at 5 weeks. Every woman is different and everyone has different symptoms. Keep in mind, though, you may not be pregnant, and there may be ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with your body. The birth control pill is a very different medication, and it can REALLY tend to throw your body off, even with the slightest change like missing pills. You never can tell. I would get another pregnancy test just to be absolutely sure, because if you are pregnant, you need to be making sure that you are getting the proper prenatal care and taking care of yourself. Blessings,
