Is there anybody else out there that can explain why, if I don't take ciprofloxacin 100mg every night, I end up with an infection and it leads to me feeling confused and so ill.
Is there anything that can be done for this other than taking antibiotics I have been on them for more than 3 years.

Hello there Ann,
Unfortunately there are no proven alternative techniques or treatment options to help you with your condition. if you are not taking your antibiotics you end up with infection and this can lead to more serious complications as you are probably aware and I am sure that your doctor has explained to you why it is so important to follow his instructions.
There are some herbal teas which can somewhat reduce the symptoms but I would first discuss this option and then head to the herbal pharmacy.
Also, if you are not so sure that your treatment is helping you then change the doctor. You can always ask for second opinion and try something else but not on your own. Good luck.
