I am 21 & i just noticed my fingertips are getting red & they look cracked but they are not dry what is wrong with me & it looks like it is spreading from finger to finger??????

This friend of mine initially got the redness of her fingertips, and they become swollen and a bit tender. When this occurred at her thumb at first, she thought she might have stung herself somewhere but then it spread out to all her fingers, after that she went to see her doctor and was diagnosed with whitlow, the skin infection. The doctor told her it is very common among children, but was she a child then? Do you have the same symptoms? How long does it last already? Have you already talked to your doctor about it? If not, you got to do it soon, okay?
I hope this won’t be anything serious, but you need to be fast with seeing the doc. Discovering the cause on time is half way through curing it.
