This is my first time eating a lunchable but I ate the ham and cheese one and didn't warm the ham, is there any harm in that or is just the deli meat I have to warm up?

Hello,

The lunchable snack is meant to be eaten as it is.  It's not necessary to heat up the meat.  Deli meat doesn't have to be cooked either.  These meats have been cured in some way to prevent bacterial growth however they do need to be refridgerated.  However, something like bacon that is raw needs to be cooked however it has preservatives in it as well.  So lunmch meats like salami, ham, bologna, olive loaf, turkey, chicken and roast beef don't need to be cooked.  These are meant to be used as sandwhich meats.   they are simply sliced and you put that directly on bread.
