Hello,

I am looking for some brief advise regarding the following:

A person I know has been experiencing dizzy spells on and off for a little while now. This same person has recently started experiencing fluttering in the heart region of their chest. Otherwise they feel fine.

Person age: 30
Gender: Female
Medical: Was born with a heart disorder, underwent six major open heart operation up until the age of 12. Has had no other health issues.

Action: Blood tests have been ordered, to be followed up in two weeks.

I am concerned so I am wondering if there is anything else we should be doing in the mean time?

Thank you for any reassurances/ advise in advanced.

Kit.

Well, I suppose that the doctor this person saw will order all the other necessary tests after having blood work done. Blood test will show if there are some deficiencies, some excess stuff. If blood tests don’t show anything, a doc may order some other tests.

They may send you to an ENT to check for some ear troubles that are related to dizziness, check for the heart work, etc

These symptoms could easily be signs of excessive stress and anxiety and possibly some vitamin deficiency but it could also be more serious (although stress is also serious).

Wait for the blood tests results and then you will have some more info about what could be happening.
