Bear in mind that a test is just that - a test - it can fail and be wrong.

If, as you hope, two cells have joined and you have conceived, they are impossible to all intents and purposes to detect until either your body changes irrefutably (the test is looking for side-effects consistent with pregnancy) or the embyo has grown to be a foetus large enough to be seen on scan.

So, if you want to conceive, have missed your period, and are experiencing signs consistent with pregnancy, all you can do now is wait, let nature take its course, and at your discretion, repeat the test at, say, weekly intervals or as you wish. Clinical tests may or may not be more accurate, but the time it takes to go to a clinic and sit around will still be a bit more active that sitting and waiting, so no harm in a visit.

If in four weeks, or earlier if you feel any concern, experience pain, or have any other disturbing symptoms, you can check with your doctor or clinic, if you haven't found a positive reading by then. Ultimately, nature's busy: whether it's busy creating a baby, or just dealing with something else, you won't know until - well - until you know, based on whatever medical science can figure out.

For now, I'd go with the weekly home tests, if nothing else occurs to disturb you, and then a visit to a doctor or clinic after a few more weeks.

If in doubt, check it out: go visit a doctor or clinic.

Eat fruit plenty of & vegetables, drink plenty of water. This will help your constipation. You are not necessarily pregnant but obtain a pregnancy test kit from your local pharmacy. Use it at the time stated & follow the instructions. Heartburn in pregnancy comes much later. Could be caused by bread, flour & contrary to popular belief cereals

Don't know how true it is but once heard your something is not competitive with that of your partners. Totally unrelated is This gentleman did a project at a university some time ago where he has all students sleep in their shirts just one night, seal them in individual containers. Solely by this he wrote down which male & female students liked each other. He kept a note of all those he matched. He then told them each which of each gender likes which of the other. He was 100% correct & surprised them all.
