I'm 29 and over the past 5-8 years my foreskin has half re-attached to the gland (If I retract the foreskin as far as it goes, about half of the head is showing). I went to a urologist and he suggested a "5minute" procedure, where I'd be put under general anesthetic while he peeled the adhesion. Doesn't normally cause me any issues the way it is, though occasionally it'll get red and itchy (yeast infection maybe) and sometimes where the skins attaches to the gland it'll get a small tear.
#1 I'm nervous about being put under general anesthetic. The Dr said there's creams for local anesthetic, but they don't really work well for something like this.
#2 I'm a little nervous about the recovery process if I go ahead with it
#3 The doctor didn't offer any alternative solutions.. and didn't really seem interested in answer my questions & concerns.
if any one has experience with this, I'd like to hear!!
thanks.
