Hey, yesterday I had sex for the first time with my girlfriend, and my foreskin retracted all the way over the head of my penis like it's supposed to. But today, about 20 hours later it still has not returned to normal, and my penis hurts when it touches anything. Is this normal, or should I go see a doctor about this. How long should it stay retracted? I really need some advice on this, thanks guys.

Yeah, I'd say it's time to go visit a doctor.

If you had sex with her yesterday, and it still hasn't returned, you're stuck.

Your penis shouldn't be hurting when it touches anything, unless you're describing the sensitive nature of the exposed glans. This too will pass with time and exposure of the glans. (We're talking Months and years here.)

If you're still swollen up and the head and foreskin are angry, it's possible that you've picked up an infection... again, a need to see a doctor.

Have you tried setting in a warm bath? A cold shower? (It's an old joke about cooling off/down with a cold shower, but it works.) You might also try swimming.... as all these things can help a penis relax and allow you to return the foreskin forward. But if it's trapped so that it's a tight band and not coming back, a doctor's visit is in order. Tell them up front what you're situation is so that they'll make room on the schedule for you and be ready to help.

Good luck. 8)
