Fungi on my scrotum?

hi.. its been years since i noticed that my scrotum is sweaty and itchy and when i scratch it too much it wounds.. its lighter and peeling my whole scrotum and it crawls to my legs.. and then i tried applying trosyd or canesten cream it cures the affected are in the legs but in the scrotum it only makes it dry and does not sweat anymore.. but it is now very dry and a bit red and sometimes itchy.. is this jock itch?.. or some kind of fungi?..

pls reply.. i'am trying lamisil cream to solve this problem to my scrotum once and for all.. hope it goes away..
