I had my Gall Bladder out a year and a half ago. I had several gall stones blocking the bile ducts in my liver. I would wake up in the middle of the night severly ill, and spend most of the night vomitting. Although it got better after surgery for a few months, now it appears to be getting worse than before i had it removed. I am constantly bloated in my upper stomach. I feel like someone has just punched me right where the top incision is, or where the gall bladder used to sit. It is very tender, i can barely eat without pain, and most days even when i dont eat, it is the same. The last 2 months i can not even stand the pressure of wearing a bra around that part of my body. I have gained 20 pounds over the last 6 months and my quality of life has greatly deminished. I am 47 years old and feel 20 years older. My general MD doesnt seem to have a clue, and right now i dont have insurance due to lay off to even talk to anyone else. Can anyone at all please give me an idea if this is normal, what you might be doing that helps. I'm confused on what to eat, any books that have a good diet in them, what to take for enzymes, i dont know what to do and am so upset and frustrated. I cant live this way it is horrible. Any help you can give me would be so greatly appreicated. Thank you all.
