Hello... I jus had my gallbladder removed 2 Day's ago!!! I know I need to have a movement but CANT GO!!!!! Can I take laxative??? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Sorry to hear you had to have your gallbladder removed. I'm afraid one of the symptoms is constipation and it is really common. As far as I know, there is no reason why you can't take a laxative. I wouldn't take anything to harsh. Now I don't want to suggest a particular laxative to you. First off I don't have constipation problems and have never taken a laxative. So, what I suggest you do is talk to the pharmacist at the local pharmacy or discount store like Target and ask him/her what is the best and let them know you have had your gallbladder removed. That is your best bet. I'm sure with the help of a laxative you be feeling right in no time.
