You can read the whole story for a more thorough understanding but here are the pain relievers that worked for me:
- Put an ice pack (or bag filled with ice) - in/on the places you're most itchy or anywhere that you are feeling the pain.
- Try not to think about it - Just continue what you are doing. (I know it might sound stupid but trust me, it does help)
- When your alone or whenever aand you don't have ice or any cold item - Place your hand on top and hold your vagina. (you might not want to do this in public, but it does help)
- Be active and move - especially your hips or legs. (Go running/jogging or maybe just dance around, just get up offa dat thang)
- Make sure to see a doctor immediately - Preferably a female, as they have more knowledge and understanding of the vagina. (Sorry male doctors)
- Don't worry so much - It might just be something simple such as a UTI (Urine Tract Infection) or using soap down there and MOST LIKELY something not harmful to your body or lady parts.
- Don't use soap, fragrances down there, Your vagina is sensitive and soap, perfumes, fragrances, cream can all be irritants. Most females feel as if they have to really clean their vagina and spray or apply products for hygiene or smell, but you are actually irritating it and disrupting the PH balance. Your vagina naturally cleans itself inside your body with discharge, so don't think it is bad to have discharge (it is like urine to clean your system from toxins). Just water is good to clean your vagina with, but you can use small ammounts of soap, try to use products like vagisil or other products that are "PH-friendly". You can even you normal soap but not in large ammounts, very lightly, and rub your vagina softly. ;)
Remember the vagina is a sensitive part of the female body and can easily get an infection. But cleaning your vagina with irritating soaps or hygienic products can actually increase the likeliness of getting an infection or feminine hygiene problems.
MY VAGINA EXPERIENCE :)
I have/had the same problem with a very itchy vagina and body, but I am a virgin and 16 years old. I was travelling with my mum to a different country for vacation and then three weeks later when we are coming back, I suddenly have painful itchy sensation around my vaginal area (incuding anus) we were in the airport going to go on the plane back home and because of that we couldn't have a shower, so my mum and I thought it might be because of that. I go and clean my vagina, it was okay for a fewe seconds then comes back. The itchiness was not dissapearing. I was crying from the anoying pain (not so much hurting me just really f*****g annoying). My mum considered and asked me if we should skip the plane and go to a doctor (We were having financial problem and didn't want my mum or family buying another ticket, plus I just wanted to go home, because I thought it might stop if I do) I just kept my legs together. My mum told a female flight attendant that I had itchy pains. I was sitting on the plane in pain, crying with people looking at me concerned. Luckily, the flight attendant gave me some ice in a plastic bag wrapped up into another bag and I just put in my legs right between my vagina lips. The pain wasn't hurting much. I was happy, I was actually able to get some sleep and watch some films without feeling anything at all.
Once we got of the plane and got our luggage, it came back then I went into the car (for an hour to get home), but the wasn't too bad, so I just rested. The pain was spreading to my legs, back, neck, arms, etc. Then for a few days, almost a weeks, I continued to have the pains, but it was slowly decreasing. Everyday I put a ton of ice packs, even just ice in a sandwich bag to cool it and IT REALLY HELPED!! I was nervous to go back to school that the itching might happen again, but it didn't. What helped was just carrying on with my work and stuff. IF YOU FEEL THE ITCHINESS JUST TRY NOT TO THINK ABOUT IT, that might sound stupid but it actually helps. Just like how I don't get cramps at all (well I never did) but my mum would tell me to "stay active and don't think about it" and so I have done that with all physical medical issues I have (but only as a pain reliever, I actually think and go see the doctor and get a prescription or medication for it). Now I rarely have any pain, only sometimes a slight itch, but I just don't think of it, and now I don't need to use an ice pack at all.
P.S. All information is right up the top, read more for simplfied detail on the pain relievers for this problem. Sorry for this crappy long message..
Good luck!!
