I went to a health clinic for birth control without my parent knowing. My asthma doctor is a good family friend and referred me to this clinic because i have no insurance. He said he would make sure that i have an appointment. Is the clinic allowed to tell my asthma doctor im already in their system and will my parent find out that i am sexually active?
Doctors generally have to keep things confidential.
You should be ok. There's a thing called Doctor Patient Confidentiality in which doctor's legally CANNOT disclose information about their patients unless it is a matter of legality. Might want to double check as it could possibly be different for minors.
