Hi, I am 32 years old female and I had acute renal failure. It happened last month and started without some specific symptoms. I was on the mountain climbing and day was hot. I didn't take enough liquids and I felt dizziness. My friends took me to the hospital where doctor told me that I had acute renal failure. I would like to know how that happened.

Hi, acute renal failure is great decline in production of urine which may happen in just few hours. Causes for such condition may be hypotension, thirst which may cause hypovolemy and infection. I guess you were dehydrated and it caused acute renal failure. Also it may be caused by kidney inflammation.
