okay so i have been on the nuva ring for about 5 months, and about a month ago i started to notice hair loss. I had always lost hair especially in the shower, but i think this is much more than what is should be. Anyone else? Is this normal? and will it stop sometime soon? Thanks
I have had the same problem..i have been using Nuva Ring for 2 and a half years now. Just like you, after about 5-6 months of being on it i have noticed that i lost more hair that normal. I love Nuva Ring and that is why i am still on it.. i definitely think my hair got much thinner since Nuva Ring, but i think most hormone contraceptives will do that. I mean we are adding some hormones to our body and it has to have an effect and i have been doing research online and found many women complaining on hair loss due to use of hormones (not only nuva ring).. i wish someone woudl give us a suggestion on what we can do to help that.. other than getting off the nuva ring...
