I had hammertoe and huge corns removed from my pinky toes on 4/15/15 (5 days ago). During and after the procedure there was no pain. I left the hospital with surgical shoes and a cane. Later on that night especially the left; the pain was excruciating. Pain killers helped a bit, I took Motrin 800 for about 3 days. By day 4, I was able to walk without the shoes and today day 5 there's no swelling just on the toes, wraps are off and walking is great. I go back to the doctor a week from the surgery, I don't think the stitches will be removed, hopefully I'll be able to walk in some crocs. Gonna go look for some today or tomorrow. I cannot wear those surgical shoes, they're horrific.
