Hey! I am 18 year old, i have been suffering from this thing from past 2 weeks. The first time i noticed these thing (probably 7 to 8 bits ) i was quite worried i hesitated from mastrubating again but on the next day when i mastrubated there were only 2 small chunks and then i decided not to mastrubate for a week and after a week my sperm was completely filled with this thing. I am very scared of it, i hope this doesn't cause infertility, i want to have kids in future(please share your views if this thing cause infertility or not).

Hey bro I’m 18 too, I’ve had these couple times before so I didn’t think anything, today I just fell into this rabbit hole it’s very scary reading all of this as a 18 year old too but from my experience I got them today in the afternoon like 2-3 one big and 2 small ones no pain as such rather just a small sting sensation, from what I’ve seen the common thing is that people who are going to gym taking protein supplements liked protein bar/ protein powder and all that and are dehydrated might get them. So I tested it out I had these in the afternoon and now at night after I drank 2 times my normal water intake there is no bits in semen now. I think it’s improper hydration. Hope you find this and don’t scared brother

There could be multiple causes, so yours might be caused by another issue. It just seems vitamins/supplements are common among many people with this issue, but perhaps not all.

Hopefully my final message here for awhile. I had mine tested and they were found to be calcium based as people said and were from kidneys originally that made way into urinary tract. I still have no idea what causes them as I drink plenty of water and trying to follow low oxalate diet.
One interesting note, I discovered a study from Nepal that cialis does increase the expulsion of these. It doesn’t cause them but does increase their expulsion. This did explain why I was finding that on day3-4 of cialis I was having them.

Interesting! Thanks for the information. And you only noticed these in your sperm and not urine? Are they recommending any kidney tests? Have they completely resolved for you?

An update here from me to maybe ease some minds:
I had these for almost a year, on and off. Sometimes in very large amounts but pretty much every time I ejaculated. I spent the year trying everything in my power to come to a solution.
Now, I haven’t seen these in months, and I’m convinced these came from a very bad habit of either lots of soda, but most of all I believe it came from eating quite a lot of candy on a regular basis. And in my case, lots of amount of liquorice. My regular snack of liquorice candy (in sometimes high doses) also gave me high blood pressure. So was this an effect from high blood pressure, or from the liquorice itself? My advice for those having been to a doctor but not finding any help is to look into any changes or recent bad habits in your diet. On top of that, try to exercise and stay hydrated. All of that is good for you either way.
I did go to one more urologist, and he as well pointed out that this is rarely something dangerous and he said that maybe my ”ducts” could be tight or have some scar tissue or other residue blocking, causing these crystals to form. He did also mention that it could be due to diet changes, but he first wanted to rule out inflammation before we looked any further.
By this time, I hadn’t seen any of these crystals in a while so I didn’t eat the anti-inflammatory pills I had received, cause I wanted to wait. It was gone for about two months, then it just started again. Thing is, this was around holiday season and I yet again had kicked off my bad habit of eating candy a bit extra, including specifically liquorice about 3-4 times a week. Sometimes large doses, sometimes just a handfull as a snack.
Once I realised this I’ve just been avoiding liquorice and coca cola zero, which was my bad habits. I still eat candy and snacks, I drink other types of soda, I sometimes forget to drink enough water and get dehydraded, I exercise a bit, but way too little. I’ve had some recent periods of stress. But…. no crystals for the past 4 months.
I’ll update here if anything changes. But knowing how much this concerned me last year, I hope all of you find your solutions. I think visiting a urologist is good just to get a professional look at you, but for those of you not finding the answer, look at your diet and habits. Try to find a pattern, make some notes of them, experiment and try going on a strict healthy diet and see if anything changes. Give it some time and try not to worry. I’ve met two urologists about this and I’ve even showed them quite big crystals, but none of them said this is anything to worry about.
You’ll be fine!

It’s honestly way worse for me when these stop coming out. Because I can feel discomfort from them trapped somewhere near the prostate for sometimes months or longer. It feels like a pebble in your shoe that you just can’t get out. It’s really annoying. The real relief comes when I get many of them out within a few ejaculations. Then I often feel fine for weeks until new ones get trapped. Sometimes the only way to get them out is to abstain for 17 days until your seminal vesicles are absolutely full. If that doesn’t work sometimes it takes edging or really intents vesicle and prostate milking to dislodge these crystals.

From what I have read online: TURED is a horrible procedure with high risks and you should not do it for this condition.
Transperrenial needle cyst aspiration, transurethral cyst deroofing with holmium laser, and transurethral seminal vesiculoscopy are the procedures worth considering and to ask your urologist about. The online information says these procedures are minimally invasive and very low risk with high cure rates. I am currently deciding whether to live with the condition (Madeline prostatic cyst plus intermittent sexual dysfunction and discomfort from these orange crystals when they get stuck in the ducts and block my vesicles, temporarily cured when the crystals come out) or to get one of these procedures
