Hey guys. I's 20 years old, virgin, and have just started experiencing small 1mm x 1mm crystals in my semen for about a week now. It's now starting to hurt a little when I ejaculate. Urinating is fine and no problem, and no issues with pain in testes or anything. My problems sound identical if not very similar to everyone else in this thread. So il take everyone's advice and eat healthier, cut down sugar and drink plenty of water. As my sugar intake has been fairly high the past few months, i usually wake up now quite thirsty as apparently your kidneys uses your water in your body to flush away excess glucose.

Here's pictures of what it looks like lately. Any reassurances and help would be appreciated.

Hi, those are exactly the same as mine. Went to the doctor and he doesn't know about it. He treated me for prostatitis, still taking antibiotics.

Oh i see. Well let me know how it goes for you. I was thinking of seeing a doctor but it seems that the crystals now have about disappeared, and no more pain. At times my bladder/urinary tract can feel uncomfortable but iv never had pain while urinating. I just dont know how I got prostatitus if i do have it.

Sure, will update here. But if yours persist, better go see a urologist also. This is me also but I don't know how to add a username. I hope we can get more info on this.

Definitely not an STD. The first time this happened to me, I was 15. Haven't had sex yet at that point. I'm 32 now. I'm type 1 diabetic since I was 10. This still happens every now and then. Sometimes years go by without me noticing it. I do not drink enough water. Pretty sure that's the reason.

YellowCrystal here:

I don't know how to add the username. Anyway, let's keep each other posted guys. I am currently under treatment for Prostatitis using Ciprofloxacin. I'm going to maintain this for a month and observe whether I'm still going to get the stones. I hope you guys can also update me with your conditions.

There is such a lack of information on this.

I have had these for years. They started when I was taking supplements with my workouts. NOT sure which one it was but I stopped the supps. I drink lots of water and eat well but I still have them. Years later. For a couple years they had almost completly blocked my ejack from exiting. Last year I started riding a bike and it broke them loose. Waiting to see if it gets better now.

Jesus man that doesn't sound good at all :/
Just want to update everyone that the yellow crystals I was getting a month ago(see pic links in previous posts) have pretty much gone away. Like others said I just drank plenty of water and tried to eat bit more healthy. I think its something that can come and go as one week it came back was much much less than before then I havn't seen it since.

Yeah I’m starting to put two and two together now! Based on what I’ve been reading. Pretty much the same thing! Little orange specks in semen etc. I only notice after I sweat really hard at work to the point of overwhelming thirst which is not good and I need to stop and drink fluids when I need to. The pattern was hard to figure out until I read post on here and see ppl with similar problems. At first I thought it was some type of pasta residue and was freaking out. Because that should be in semen. I do have a poor diet though and skip meals! Contributing to the problem as well. I sweat very hard and easy due to health issues like diabetes/ hbp. when I’m hydrated I don’t notice the specks. Hope this help someone..

Also to add to that is that ppl don’t realize how poor their diet is until symptoms show. And it catches up with you as you get older. Proper fluids is a must. Excessive Alcohol use not eating right etc. I found out that one way to test hydration is through semen. If it’s very thick like gelatin then most likely your dehydrated. And if it’s runny your ok! Thick semen perhaps raises issues like the orange crystal specks I suppose. Fatigue, irritable, being tired to often are none symptoms of dehydration. I guess we should really take care of ourselves....

I hope this helps.

I have gout, which is caused by high uric acid. When untreated and a flare up happens, sharp uric crystals form. They will come out in urine and semen. Often times some will remain inside the head of my penis and they sting like hell.

Stop drinking mountain dew, avoid high fructose corn syrup, and things overly high in protein.
