I've been having this exact problem as well since using prime male supplement or even just a strong vitamin d. Going through a urologist now and have managed to submit stones for analysis. They vary in size and sometimes aren't fully formed when they come out. Bit of a sting and have caused bleeding before now.

How old are you Phil, and do you also have pain or inflammation in your perineum where your prostate or seminal vesicles would be located?
I suspect these stones and sediment are caused by a pathogen, not a dietary supplement. Have your semen tested by microgendx and see if any bacteria show up. Let us know what the stone analysis revealed.

41. Not an infection and not inflammation. I have a metabolic abnormality so I hoard materials. It's completely cleared up now 4 weeks after stopping the supplement. 100% caused by the supplement. Waiting for the analysis to find out what the stones are made of.

I recently had an MRI and they found a small midline prostatic cyst. It’s likely either a congenital utricle or mullerian cyst. These Cysts are known to cause or harbor stones.
Although I still think pathogens are involved in stone formation, it seems like the underlying cause is in fact a cyst. I suggest that anybody who is passing these orange solids consider getting a pelvic MRI.

I've just this week had the all clear from my MRI. I'm waiting on the stone analysis at the minute but it's looking likely that my metabolic abnormality makes me hoard the material. I'm hoping the analysis will tell me what material so I know what to avoid. So far supplements look responsible as no infections or otherwise.

Hey there, Did you get the results from the stone analysis?
I have the same problem and sent mine to lab. I will let you know the results when I have them too.

Please let me know what they say. I have had this problem on and off for the last 6 months now. Had it for about a week in my 20’s. 40 now, and it doesn’t seem to be clearing up.

Not yet. They were sent to a lab in London so I keep chasing the consultant for the results. I did stop taking all supplements and they went away then slowly started again with just vitamin d3 and zinc. They started coming back so stopped again and just on zinc. If they don't come back it could be the excess of vitamin d3 but the stone analysis is the main part for me once I know what they are made from I should know what to avoid.

Alright keep us posted.
I received the tests from the crystals and it’s 95% proteins. I have a prostate MRI this week and a catch up with the Urologist. I will keep you posted. It’s really weird that nobody knows about these.

They think mine might be related to a metabolic abnormality I have that gave me kidney stones in my 20s.

I get these occasionally. I don't think they're anything to be alarmed about but the article below explain what they are and potential treatment.

I've had nothing back about the stones. I stopped taking all supplements and vitamins and they seem to have gone away. I've had maybe two tiny grain of sand size ones. Nothing to be worried about more painful than anything else. Still worth seeing a doctor to see if you get any samples checked to find what your cause is.

I am also only getting those sand sizes ones from last month. Kinda weird though as I am not taking any supplements or any changes in the diet?
Anybody with their samples checked?

Wow! Thanks for the article link! It was a little technical and difficult to read, but it made me realize that prostate stones are “a thing” that is known to some in the field, .. that they usually don’t cause problems, .. but that, if they ever do cause me a problem, then there are specialists out there who understand — and can usually successfully treat — the problem.
I “shared” the article to my email, so I can easily reference it in case I ever need to.
Thank you, again.
