I have had many of the same symptoms as most of these posts. It started with dizziness, headaches, nose pressure, watery and itchy eyes, burning sensation and swelling of the nose, ringinh in the ears, chest pain, and problems breathing. I had a scope with my ENT, CT scan for sinus infection, chest x-ray for pneumonia, ultra sound for gall bladdr, EKG for heart problems, sveral blood tests and allergy testing. All were negative. I was then told by my general practitioner that I had GERD. The acid from my stomach was reaching my voice box and inflamed my esophogus. This caused most of my symptoms. I've been taking meds for it and it's getting better. I can't say this is everyones problem but it may be something to look into.

I have had similar symptons that started only a few weeks ago. I tend to wake up with a tired and pressured head and with bleary eyes. I will feel funny throughout the day. My forehead will feel a tired stiffness, in that I find it hard to flex my muscles in that area. Sometimes my scalp will feel a hot or prickly flare sensation. I do have severe sinus conditions, especially during grass weed and pollen season. I tell my parents of how serious my case is, and they think I may not drink enough, and get enough oxygen and sunshine. Whenever I tell my dad about my severe headaches and head pressures he always recommends I take my allergy medication daily.

Hi All,
Symptoms everyone of you say seems to be because of increase in body temperature. You all can try oil bath.
What is oil bath? (Is it something messy?)
Oil bath is not messy. Apply handful of Sesame(also known as gingelly oil or til oil) in your head, body, hands and neck and massage it for 30 mins and take a shower. You will feel good as if all your body temp is decreased and feel fresh.
Whats the scientific goodness behind such an oil bath?
Our body skin contains pores which get clogged due to dust, salt and soap particles and it cannot breathe. Applying oil dissolves this particles and pores in the skin can breath.
Is there any side-effects?
Gingely oil is edible oil we use it regularly for cooking. So it safe to use in skin. Sesame oil have anti-oxidant and anti-depressant properties.
Try it let me know your comments.

The tiredness, itchy-burning nose and watery eyes, and pressure in the head, even balance problems are due to a sinus infection. The balance problems are probably due to the sinus infection going into the ears. You can get an ear infection from this as well, which will affect your balance since it is dealing with the middle ear. They are very hard to get rid of sometimes and people who do not get these do not understand the pain associated with these infections. Sinus infections are generally a result of allergies where the sinuses get inflamed and then infected.
Usually it takes very high powered antibiotics, because you have to get rid of EVERYTHING or else it will come back. If you get around something that sets off your sinuses again, you can get another infection. If I smell strong perfume for instance it's almost a guaranteed sinus infection for me. I also recommend salt water flushes with distilled water using a netti pot which seems to calm the inflammation.
If you have acute sinus problems, you may want to find yourself an ear/nose/throat doctor that also works with allergies. Not all "regular" doctors know how to treat this, the way a specialist would. You may end up needing allergy shots which will also help with sinus infections.

Could shower curtain mold be the culprit? I knew that I had seen a reddish substance growing on my white vinyl/plastic shower curtain in my bathroom, and I thought at first that it was shampoo or soap that one of my teenagers was using, but after a while it seemed to appear all over the shower, so I did some research and learned about shower curtain mold. I learned that red mold is a respiratory mold. I wonder how many people might have a shower curtain that is maybe blue or black or some other color and they would not be able to see the "shower curtain mold." Maybe this will help someone. I replaced my shower curtain with a water-resistant white cloth liner and cloth curtain. I would recommend white so you can see anything that might appear on it. I am still watching and waiting to see if this works out. I researched to see what the reddish mold is called and here is the info I found about the effects it can have on your health. ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** web addresses not allowed***

I have all the same symptons as well. The dizziness was confirmed as Vaso Vagal Syncope. It is diagnosed by a tilt test. But the headaches, burning nose, tired all the time. I wake up in the morning feeling like I am hung over and can't remember everything i did yesterday...I dont' drink...can't think straight, cant concentrate. If i touch a certain spot on my right hand or on my feet above my big toes it feels llike i hit my funny bone or electric current...it really hurts. I think my next step is the chriopractor for my neck. Hope everyone finds out the cause of their pain. I also have panic attack as well. To all the Ladies have a blood test for menopause. Take care

Hi all. What you have been discussing is something that I have been fighting with since 2009. I had 2 bouts of acute sinusitis. Tooks the meds, but the pressure never went away 100%. I then fell ill with extreme fatigue, confusion, face pressure so painful, I thought for sure I would be picking up my eyeballs off the floor. Come to find out, I had been exposed to mono, which caused the extreme fatigue. Since that day in 2009, I have have struggled with infections through out my entire body. Sinusitis used to be simple to get rid of, but now it is believed that the sinus infection is bacterial and can travel through out the body. Right now, I have pressure starting on the sides of my neck/throat. There is a pain behind both my ears and and the base of my skull. I have dizziness and confusion, which I'm not proud of. The pressure is painful, but it's a bazaar feeling when your eye sight, work performance and family are all affected. I'm beginning to wonder if I have some type of bacterial infection on my brain. I have a burning sensation, but it seems to be up in my nose. The burning that I feel makes me sick and think of poison/chemicals. My doc will be starting out with blood work-I will be checking the coagulation/oxygen to my brain. We all have these simple sinus symptoms that aren't going away even after treatment. So I believe these signs and symptoms should be taken seriously by our docs . I will keep all posted and ya'll need to keep me posted as well.

I have had this problem for over 5 years now. Have seen my Dr, cardiologist, neurologist, and $1000 worth of er visits at $50 a pop..nothing has been determined as of yet. I've been told extreme heart burn and acid reflux, anxiety, asthma, high blood pressure.. I am taking several medications and my doctor had literally told me "I don't know what's causing your symptoms". I get weird sudden episodes of pressure in my head as though my blood is rushing to my head, sharp pains in my chest, neck stiffness, all followed by an uncontrollable fatigue to the point that I have to go to sleep immediately. I have fallen asleep driving because this. There's gotta be something someone can tell us or help us with!
