Hello there,
I know you posted this 11 months ago. I hope you have got some relief since then. I am 45 years old and suffer from many of the symptoms you describe. Tightness in head, face and jaw. Veins in temples are pulsing and feel like they could burst. Both eyes burn at times like a sleepy feeling, and also weakness all over. The ringing (when it happens) is in my right ear, and I suffer from random head sweats which are quite profuse at times. I also get moderate/severe dizziness, especially when I bend down to do anything. This roughly started since January 2016, but has been feeling worse over the last 2 months.
You are so correct about the medical profession. I too have encountered a great deal of reluctance from both GP's and hospital doctors. I consistently begged them for a brain scan or a neck scan, or even an X-Ray on either, but was bluntly refused on the basis that my symptoms do not warrant such action (in their opinion). One GP who was very kind (about the only one) did do an optic nerve test, where a light is shone deep into both eyes in a dark room. He informed me that the optic nerve wasn't swollen, hence no tumour or blood clot or anything in there. That relief gave me a little to go on, but I still can't help worrying 'what if?' Others have just put it down to mostly anxiety and stress.
I wish you, and all of us who are suffering will have a breakthrough real soon, and find out what is really wrong with us.

Get checked for food allergies! Different foods give different symptoms, wanting to sleep all the time, headaches and red eyes are all reactions.

Hope you got this resolved by now. I googled because I've been having burning pain in eyes and nose. I likely have a sinus infection.
Honestly. It sounds like a mild migraine issue for you. Have you noticed if it comes on stronger in day light? With noise? Computer screen? Migraines come to us in unique ways.
You can try some natural remedies for migraines. I recommend investing in a heating bag (idk what they're called but you put them in the microwave) and laying that over your eyes. Give your eyes a complete break from strain (even a break from strain of closing them). That helps me for relief. For when you're out and about, you can carry peppermint type essential oils (find what works for you). Every time you feel it coming, take a smell of it. Also, evaluate if you're on any medications (even OTC) sometimes people show allergies to medications in less severe ways like nausea/headache. Visit a chiropractor regularly. When I'm out of alignment, my headaches will NOT go away no matter what I do until I'm adjusted (usually nerve issue). Try acupressure (go for acupuncture if you're bold). Go To a massage therapist and talk to her/him about your issue. They know their stuff. They'll feel around in the right spots to see if they can find anything. (Best feeling is when they hit a spot and you can feel it directly in your head!) soooo many natural remedies for headaches. Honestly. It just seems like a chronic head ache issue for you... or migraines. The sensations can make you sleepy.
If you want to go more medical. Go Talk to a doc about the possibilities of a migraine issue. He might prescribe you something or Botox.
Our bodies are so complex. It's a miracle they work as well as they do! Just be patient with your body and understand that some people are just more prone to things like headaches and allergies and stuff like that. Just trial and error till you find a remedy that works.
Last possibility- go talk w a mental health provider. You also have symptoms relating to depression.
You can also go the non

Hi I am also having same symptoms as you all have and have been researching .. This started after chronic cold and flu and I tired nadal rinse and Flonase sprays it helped little but lately I have dizzy Spells fatigue and excessive sleepiness and my eyes burn and some times feel nasal pressure ... I found that these are all symptoms of deviated septum with nasal septum being hindered blood flow and dryness in nose due to allergies or Dust ... Try pulling pressures on both sides on nose around the septum and hold it and breathe through the mouth and see if you still feel these symptoms if so see a very good ENT surgeon and get a X-ray of nose
