I am wondering if anyone else experiences this bizarre thing that keeps happening to me. Due to being on narcotics I'm always constipated normally I have to drink mirlax to have a bm, but lately I have been going to the bathroom and once I begin the process of having a bowel movement, my body starts shaking, I sweat, worse of all is that my heart pounds so much I feel it in my head, usually followed my shortness of breath, after the bowel movement is over things slowly go back to normal, I still feel the pounding in my head for a few minutes not pain just the heartbeat in my head if anyone else has this problem and knows what it is please please please let me know.

OMG this is the first time I've found ANYONE that is going through exactly the same thing I am! Have tried so many things to make this better but it's getting worse and I'm constantly worried this is terribly serious! My heart pounds (can feel it in my head and I get a headache - I never get headaches!), my hands go numb, my face flushes, I get really hot and sometimes break out in a terrible sweat. I often have to get down on the bathroom floor b/c I can't stand or sit any longer and am on the verge of passing out! After laying down for awhile things seem to go back to "normal" but I'm usually shaky and weak the rest of the day. Scary!! (PS I'm not "constipated" but often only have a BM every few days, which also is not normal for me. I'm 70 and have been in great health for most of my life, but this is frightening)
