Hello guys, I am 13 years old I 5ft 9 and 196 pounds and just quit football and gained 3 stone from it :( worst mistake EVER! I am now in the cadets and trying to lose weight but I need some special tips or diet programs to boost me along because I am joining the army when I am 18 and I want to be the right weight for it so I come into the requirements!

In the army you are not required to come in with a certain weight limit I do believe, although.. One thing you can do is to eat a big breakfast and not so big lunch or dinner. Dinner is actually meant to be the smallest meal of the day. Try to avoid fast foods and eating after 8. Something to go along with this is to tighten up your abdominal muscles the best you can and twist your body around daily. It may sound weird but it works over time. Also try drinking a glass of water every time you feel the urge to eat off of schedule, most of the time that you feel hungry you are actually thirsty. Sit ups, push ups, and everything you get taught in P.E. is great exercise to do during commercials while watching t.v.
