I am a 17 year old gay male who recently hooked up with a guy I met on Grindr (27) a week ago. We had anal intercourse, but the condom broke. He said he was clean, and had no record of std infection so I stayed calm. In fact we had talked about that before we met. But now I noticed I have a swollen lymph node in my neck, and I fear the worst. I was feeling fine until I had a lack of sleep 2 nights ago (partying, college) so I figured it could just be cold. But now, as I'm doing research, I'm finding that swollen lymph nodes are a key sign for STDs like HIV and Herpes, that show up within days of the infection. I'm absolutely freaking out. I'm scared out of mind and on the floor crying. I will never hook up again. I want to get tested but I'm afraid it's too soon. I just got to college. I don't want HIV now, I don't want HIV ever. I need to know the truth. I can't sleep, I'm too scared. Oh god, I need my mom
