my son is 2 yrs 8 months, doctor is asking for him to have his tonsills removed as they are very large, he has had a series of bad throats since december, ie; tonsilits, throat infections and vomits of anight when sleeping (not every night at least 4-5 x a week) and 6 sets of antibiotics since december. doc says vomiting is due to his large tonsils so when he lays down the tonsils touch and make cough, gag and then be sick. has anybody else or their child suffered from the vomiting side of this, if so when he has tonsils removed will this stop? any comments or suggestions will be grateful.

Hi maybe if he is that sick with them he should get them out.My son is 8 & half and still suffering from tonsilstis sorry didn't go about getting out sooner,sitting beside him here not nursing a temperature this is his 3rd time this winter a lone.He is on a very strong antobiotic this time so hope this work or eles they are coming out.
