Is anyone familiar with the Hemorrhoid Treatment with the O’Regan System? It is described as a banding that kills the blood supply. Another treatment called Ultroid treatment where the hemorrhoid is given mild electric shock. They both claim great success. Thanks for any help. I dont want to get caught up in the many scams. Edd

Hello, EddCru. It looks like both procedures are legitimate procedures using different techniques to allow the hemorrhoidal tissue to die off due to keeping the blood supply from the area. The post-procedure pain is suppose to be nil with both the O'Regan System and the Ultroid treatment. You have to decide if you want the procedure with tying off the hemorrhoids or a little low-voltage shock to the tissue. The success rate in one study shows that the O'Regan System at 14% higher than the Ultroid treatment. It all depends on your preference. You have it done within the same day and walk out of the doctor's office and resume normal activities. Good luck!

I had the banding done. Painless! Can go on with your daily activities immediately after. The hemorrhoids fall off! I saw the rubber band floating in the toilet! Yay! No more bright red blood! Keep fiber intake and lots of water to prevent more from coming up. Best of luck everyone! Blessings!
